Dr Sharon Hodgson

Dr Hodgson completed her undergraduate training at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She did her Fellowship training in Perth and worked in private practice in Perth for five years before moving to Sydney with her family.
She has worked in the public mental health sector on the Northern Beaches in both adult and aged-care sectors. Dr Hodgson has also worked in rural and remote locations in Western Australia and far North Queensland delivering acute services to rural communities. She worked as Director of Mental Health in provision of Rurallink/HealthDirect telephone services and worked for over six years with GPPsychSupport, providing support to general practitioners in treating patients with mental health issues. Over the last eight years she has been working in private practice on the North Shore in both outpatient and inpatient sectors. She is credentialled to admit inpatients to Northside Cremorne Clinic.
